Miller Drilling Co., of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Ambient Technologies Inc. (ATI) of St. Petersburg, Fla., have aligned in a strategic agreement to provide premier drilling services to their clientele throughout Florida, the Gulf Coast Region, and Central and South America.
ATI is a diversified firm providing geotechnical drilling, environmental drilling and geophysical services in the southern United States, Central America and South America, and presently has business partners in Panama, El Salvador and Brazil. ATI is certified by the State of Florida as a minority-owned business enterprise (MBE), by the Florida Department of Transportation as a Disadvantaged Small Business Administration (DBE) and by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).
Miller Drilling is an experienced, specialized drilling company that has provided drilling services in the eastern United States for more then 60 years. Miller owns and operates more than 20 rigs, and is the third largest sonic drilling company in the country. The firm has a respected reputation for providing quality services and safety on the job. Miller is a woman-owned small business, and is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a HUBZone business.
The ATI-Miller strategic alignment allows the two firms to combine the varied skills and experiences of their geologist, geophysicists, technicians and support personnel, along with their subsurface exploration rigs, geophysical technologies and support equipment to product a team capable of handling diverse projects of virtually any size at any location throughout their service areas. Key services include geotechnical and soil probe investigations, sonic drilling technologies, environmental and remediation assessments, and municipal and industrial water supply systems studies. Additional services offered are geophysical surveys, utilities locating and designation, de-watering, foundation drilling and grouting, and dam remediation drilling.
